Monastery Zlatenac
The monastery was an endowment of despot
Stefan Lazarevic and directly served to transcription-constructive
school of Resava. Today's name comes from latter restorer. The style
of the church belongs to moravska school. It was rebuilt and
restored many times. First reconstruction occurred in n1923, the
second in 1952/1953, and the third in 1966 all organized by
believers of Glozane. Most of the facts about enormous work on
restoration and its benefactors are found in notes of a farmer,
Radomir Todorovic from Glozane known as Rala Bogin. Although small, the church is well-built with a broken-edge roof culminating in an octagonal dome. Wooden iconostas is a real piece of art, while precious icons and frescoes are done by Zica iconographic school. Next to the monastery are new residence buildings and a bell-tower.
Right on the river Morava, nearby Zlatenac,
there is a watermill donated by Milan Ilic from Brzane.
